These images are the forgotten ones.
They’ve sat in random folders from random days. They range from a spring walk, to our wedding, to a 30th birthday (David’s), an incredible exhibition in Virginia, to Father’s Day, to Halloween.
They start with my beloved cat Buddy (second photo, who has since died) and end with an image of our new dog, Tia (she’s a terror).
Y’know how a smell can conjure up swells of memory? I’ve found a photograph doesn’t have to be a beautiful or perfect photograph to do the same.
It’s really amazing how much happiness and sadness can encompass less than half a year.
So much change.
So much same.
And so much love throughout it all.
Don’t let me forget.
